pottery
earthen ware, colored slip, clear glaze
I have been working with clay since 1980. My pots are made with earthenware clay, colored slips, and clear glaze. The imagery typically reflects personal observations and social or political ideas.
I have studied with potters, painters and sculptors. Influences come from Charles Counts, Sinclair Ashley, Ray Allen, Jere Chumley, and Jim Gibson.
