Biography

Bobbi Doyle-Maher is a native of East Tennessee. She is self-taught and began painting in 1974. She is proficient in various mediums including watercolor, oil, pastel, acrylic, monotype, encaustic and Digital Imaging. Her work hangs in private collections in the US and abroad.

She moves back and forth between traditional painting and digital imaging techniques with ease and finds that doing so helps her see with a new perspective. Many of her traditional paintings are painted from her imagination. She feels a strong kinship with nature and her primary goal is to create mood and feeling in her work.
